Diamonds Umpiring Pathway

At Diamonds Netball Club, we’re committed to developing confident, knowledgeable umpires who support the game at every level. Our umpiring pathway creates opportunities for both coaches and players to learn, grow and progress in their officiating journey — from gaining early experience on court to working towards England Netball qualifications.

We actively encourage our young players to explore umpiring as a way to build leadership, communication skills and a deeper understanding of the game. With guidance from our coaching team and support from qualified officials, our umpires gain the confidence to take charge on court and contribute to the wider netball community.

Whether they’re just starting out or working towards higher‑level badges, our umpires play a vital role in the smooth running of matches and the development of our players.

Diamonds Officiating Pathway

At Diamonds Netball Club, we have a growing group of coaches and players who are developing their skills through the England Netball Intro to Officiating qualification. Officiating has become an exciting pathway within our club, giving young people and adults the chance to build confidence, game understanding and leadership on court.

Head Coach Sam plays a key role in supporting everyone on this journey. She provides opportunities to umpire at games, offers mentoring and guidance, and helps each new official gain the experience they need to progress. Her support ensures our umpires feel prepared, valued and confident as they take their next steps in the officiating pathway.
